Many of the presenters at the workshop were keen on publishing their contribution in an international journal or book. We are happy to announce that the series editors of Constructional Approaches to Language at John Benjamins are interested in publishing a thematic volume on Grammaticalization meets Construction Grammar! We strive to have the volume ready by the beginning of 2017.

We offer a conference bag (with name tag, conference programme, some directions, notepad, pen, map of Gothenburg) to all speakers and registered participants. You are welcome to pick up your bag on Thursday 8 October between 8:30-9:20 in front of the conference room T302.
Our colleague Maia Andréasson made this nice poster for the workshop. Download here. Feel free to share!
Presentations are organized in thirty minutes slots. Twenty minutes is allocated for the presentation itself and ten minutes for questions from the audience. A chairperson will help you to keep the time.
If you would like to project your presentation, we will have a computer and projector set up in the room. Take your presentation with you on a USB memory stick to put it on our computer. Please, make sure that your presentation is installed on our computer for projection in the break before your own talk. We are glad to assist you with this. Alternatively, you can bring your own lap top and connect it to the projector directly. Make sure to check that the projection works in the break before your presentation. If you have a Macintosh computer, please, bring your own adaptor to connect the computer to the projector.
If you want to distribute handouts for your presentation, please bring them with you to the workshop. We anticipate around 50 participants. It is possible to make copies on campus, but it is cumbersome and expensive. If you should still wish to do so, you first need to buy a copy-card at the university library or service center, for 20 or 100 SEK. You can make copies at the university library (near the conference venue) and make copies there, using the card. The cost of one page is 1 SEK. More instructions on how and where to use the copy-card, see http://www.ub.gu.se/utskrift/kopieringskort/.
The university offers free wireless internet through the eduroam roaming service (https://www.eduroam.org/). We assume that many of the speakers have access to eduroam through their home university or institution. If you have not activated this service before, please, make sure that you do before you leave, as this is more difficult to arrange abroad. If you do not have access to eduroam, we can provide you with a guest account to our wireless network, but this needs to be settled at least a week before your arrival. Please, contact us in due time if we would need to fix a guest account for you.
We do not have any special agreements with hotels but down below you have a list close to the venue (however, almost every hotel in the city center are nearby the campus).
